Export feature will automatically render video with embedded gauges for speed and G-force. Google map gauge is not rendered into video because Google does not allow it.
The new Cockpit Recorder has been already posted to AppStore and it’s waiting for review.
You fellows better revise your product: $8.99 PER EXTRACTED VIDEO is way, Way, WAY OVERPRICED.

It is not per video. You pay once and then you can export as many videos as you want.

We have made export with maps but Apple informed us that Google does not allow such use. Our team is working on a solution with some other maps. As soon as possible we will release a free update.

Why dont you use Open Streets, then you dont have to worry about rights restrictions of the Google Maps on export. Open Streets is a rights free open source “Google style” street level map of the whole planet:
i have purchased the export, but now my app is not opening. i reistalled and my purchase was dissapeared.
I’m running the update on a 3GS with iOS 4.2. The export function stalls at “merging video…” Work-around?
By the way, Cartographer downloads OpenStreetMaps for offline use. Works great, I can search, get directions, and track without using cellular data. Google Maps would be better, but OpenStreetMaps is acceptable.
